The only parts I would be worried about is the Engine and Lower Unit more than likley it is a Mercruser and parts for them are plentyful.
When you do a sea trial have the seat over the engine hatch removed if it has one and ckecl that there isn't any water coming in from the lower unit if there is then it needs a new bellows and more than likley u-joints and gimble bearring. The engine will be noisie but listen for any missing or studdering when taking off. I am lookind at an 88 with a 350 merc won't go as fast as yours but the price is right.
