Wayne, As I posted earlier, I don't know about the Alerion but I do know about the Marshall. It is easily trailered but if you plan to launch and day sail, you should have a folding mast. I leave my boat in a slip all season and trailer only in spring and fall. I am 75 years old and single hand most of the time. It is easy to handle and pleasant to sail. Lazy jacks are the secret to being able to sail alone, making it simple to raise and lower the sail without it getting into the water. Before the lazy jacks we had to start the motor and hold the boat into the wind while raising and lowering the sail and that took two people. It is good to hear that the Sanderlings are holding their value but I can understand why. Howard
