what to do with old Finn?

I acquired an old Olympic class Finn that seems to have had some involvement in the 1996 Olympics. I got it originally just for the dolly that it was on,since it is missing the mast, rudder, and sails. However, when I got it home I realized it was a unique high quality boat. It is out of the question to restore it to as Finn, and I wouldn't want such a high performance boat anyway. Now that I have it at home,though, I am starting to wonder if it could be converted cheaply to a more comfortable sailing catboat. I replaced the sails from my Sea Pearl and still have the old ones and I am fairly handy. Would it worth the effort to make a more traditional and less high performance catboat from the Finn hull? The centerboard, centerboard trunk, and deck rigging are all in good shape. Thanks for any advice.
