Boat Reviews By Owners

2006 -- 15' 6" GHEENOE

Model: Classic

Cockpit: Gheenoes are shapped like canoes with 25 HP. This is a pure fun shallow running machine. The boat is designed for stick steering. It will float in 5 inches of water and run on plane at 6 inches. It's fun to run and everyone asks me what kind of boat is that.

Cabin: I have no cabin but I do have 2 hatches. However I do have a casting poling platform front and rear.

Construction: This boat is built very light so that it could run shallow.

Handling: My boat will run 30 MPH with a 25 HP Merc. She is a flats fishing machine. In a heavy chop bring your unbrella because you will get soaked. I was out in 2 to 3 foot chop and felt safe just soaked and sore.

Engine Room: It's powered by a 1991 Merc 25 2stroke and runs 30 MPH using the stick steering like on a air boat.

General Comments: I use it to go where other boats can't get to. It's narrow and draws very little water. It's a true fishing machine
