Boat Reviews By Owners

2005 -- 22' 0" SEA PRO

Model: 220 CC

Cockpit: Decent room for 22'. Twin 20 gal live wells are great. I use one for baits & other for storing 5 gal bucket/rigs/etc. Bench seat flips up for easy access to batteries. Access to bilge/pumps somewhat awkward through hatch in motor well. Must have motor trimmed all way down to open hatch.

Cabin: Console about what you'd expect. Lots of storage room for gear & will hold porta-pottie. Plenty of room on console to mount electronics. Great visibility from helm.

Construction: Very solid ride. I fish out of Morehead City NC & often encounter bumpy seas. Have had no issues with hull or fittings. Very solid T-Top. Would like to see gaskets & gas struts on fish box. Anchor locker easy to access but could be a bit larger.

Handling: Rides great in anything up to 3'. Throttle back in 4' & she does fine. 5'+ stay at the dock or fish inshore. Handles great around the dock w/Edson Power Knob. If you don't have one, get one! It'll make you look like a pro.

Engine Room: Yamaha F225 4-stroke. AWESOME motor. Love the power and reliability. Starts on first try every time. Very quiet. Will run offshore to fishing grounds then troll all day without missing a beat.

General Comments: My first saltwater boat. I have really enjoyed this boat. Gets me offshore when weather permits yet good size for inshore/sound fishing. Plenty of room for 4 when bottom fishing.
