Boat Reviews By Owners
2005 -- 20' 6" SEA PRO
Model: 206 WA
Cockpit: Cockpit is a good size for a 20.5 foot boat. The dash is well planned and attractive.Controls are conveniently located.Visibility is very good.Seating is very good.I would like to have a bit more storage. This is a very dry boat due to the high windshield.
Cabin: The cabin is very attractive with good sitting head room.My wife and I have stayed on the boat at anchor several times so far.It has a nice stereo and shelves for various items.
Construction: After about 100 hours I am very happy with how the boat is put together. All rails and hardware and fittings are made of quality material. The gelcoat seems to be holding up well. The only problem I found with details is one of the drains for a storage locker is partially plugged or crimped.
Handling: For a 20.5 foot boat it handles beautifully. It planes quickly and feels solid when hitting waves or wakes if you hit them at the right angle. There is one spot that shakes the boat a bit.
I have been caught in four plus footers and while I was not comfortable I felt confident in the way the boat performed.
Engine Room: The 150 Yamaha four stroke is a sweet engine.Top speed is a bit over 40.
General Comments: This is a fairly inexpensive boat that seems to be very well built with quality materials.I feel it is better built than some other more expensive boats I looked at.It is well laid out.We use it to fish, overnite and general cruising. So far,I love the boat.
