Boat Reviews By Owners
2006 -- 20' 6" TAHOE
Cockpit: Plenty of room in the cockpit. Has two captains chairs and a large back seat. Had some rips in the seats, but the dealer is taking care of all the problems.
Construction: Boat is well built and rides like my daughters Crownline. The bimini top cannot be in the up position when towing, as the dealer specified, the brackets come loose and I now have some scratches in the side of the boat. I am going to see what the dealer will do about this problem. My speedometer did not work, there is a hole in the hose under the dash where it connects. These are the only problems I had with the first time in the water, overall not many bugs.
Handling: The boat handles nice in choppy water. I like the seating and the boat is easy to manouver around loading ramps and docks.
Engine Room: The 4.3 Merc, 190 HP speaks for itself. Easy starting and smooth idle. I have plenty of power for watersports.
General Comments: I am pleased with the Tahoe, I have only had it in the water once and had a few bugs in the boat. The dealer is willing to assist and get these issues fixed, but with a better QC from the dealer I would not have had to bother them again. Overall I am satisfied, the price is affordable, and the performance is in line with the higher priced boats.
