Boat Reviews By Owners

2005 -- 20' 4" SEA FOX

Model: 204CF

Cockpit: I stand when running the boat, visability is great. I have the GPS mounted on the side of the console. Throttle is no problem. Next time I get an Open Bow.

Cabin: This is a small boat with a small cabin. I use it for storage. I will try spending the night this summer. It should be roomy enough for my son and I.

Construction: So Far-So Good. My only complaint is the port hole in the cuddy cabin. The mounting material is very weak and fell apart after two seasons. There is an apparent wiring issue, however I suspect it is in the dealer installed multi battery switch.

Handling: The boat handles very well. I had the boat on the Chesapeake for 2 summers. It handled well in up to 20 knot winds, 2-3 ft seas. I personally would not take it out in anything larger. It is only 20'4"

Engine Room: 135hp Merc. I/O. I believe this is Sea Fox's only I/O. It is coupled with an Alpha One Stern drive. Good power, Good on gas. So Far No Problems.

General Comments: I now have the boat on Lake Anna in VA. It is cleaner water and family friendly. We are very happy. I only wish it didn't have the combo sink, cooler. This cuts down the amount of useable room on the boat. I use it for fishing, pulling the kids on a raft, picnicking etc.
