Boat Reviews By Owners

1965 -- 20' 0" OWENS

Model: Runabout/with hardtop

Cockpit: Excellent visibility good for all water sports. Large cockpit w/back to back helm and companion seats that convert to bunks. Both windshields open out. Great cruiser, fisher or picnic.

Cabin: No cabin but she is a great day cruiser. We enjoy crusing mostly on Lake Okeechobee. We have no dislikes and have loved every minute of use since we purchased her.

Construction: We consider the boat very well built. The only problem area was the deck. The features we enjoy in Florida are the removable hardtop & windshield opening.

Handling: She is a power boat and handles extremely well. We use her in a 40mi.x 40mi.lake and feel safe in 3ft. seas.

Engine Room: Inboard/outboard Merc cruiser Alfa 1 GM 292 cid motor. 20knts @ 3200rpm. Great performance for the lakes and canals.

General Comments: We both really like the boat and use her as often as possible. We use her for cuising and fishing Lake Okeechobee, FLorida and exploring the surrounding canals. We feel that this is her best use.
