Boat Reviews By Owners

2000 -- 18' 0" MOTION MARINE

Model: MoJet LX

Cockpit: The helm has great visibility ... this boat is perfect for either fishing or a family outing. It's got seating in front and along the sides in back.

Cabin: There's not really a cabin so much as a cockpit - This is a runabout, not an overnight cruiser.

Construction: One interesting note is that the boat is pretty much all alumninum. The hull is welded aluminum, the sides, the cockpit... Makes for a nice light boat. They inject floatation foam inside of the hull. It's built like it's been made to last forever.

Handling: Handles like you wouldn't beleive. :) Does real well in rivers, lakes are no problem. I wouldn't try her in the ocean, but it might work.

Engine Room: The primary engine is an "Outback" inboard... the inboard motor pretty much hangs off of the back of the boat. Nice, because there's no loss of space, but you get better performance. And because it's a jet, I don't have to worry too much about big debris fouling my propeller.

General Comments: My family fishes and basically hangs out on the Willamette and Tualatin rivers... when it isn't raining. We don't waterski, but the kids do like getting towed on tubes.
