Boat Reviews By Owners

1999 -- 24' 0" AQUASPORT

Model: 225 Explorer

Cockpit: Fairly large cockpit with pretty good visibility. Plenty of room for fishing, cruising and carrying dive equipment. After 8 yrs., the gel coat still has a flawless showroom glow.

Cabin: Cabin is spacious for storage of equipment and portipoty and great for 2 small kids to rest after a day of play in the sun.

Construction: Very solid boat. A few occassions I was caught offshore in storms with 6-8 footers breaking on even bigger swells. Throttled back of course, but a very dry safe return. All faftory snaps on cuwshions had to be replaced with stainless steel.

Handling: Handles well in all seas with a solid entry. Pulls skiiers and tubers with ease. Over all, a very safe family fun boat.

Engine Room: Ours was powered with a 200 hp Johnson which preformed flawlessly in all conditions. Top out speed of 42 MPH. I would not recommend going smaller.

General Comments: Family Fun boat in the intercoastal, near shore or even offshore (on calm days). Plenty of room for a family of 4 to 6 to cruise or fish.
