Boat Reviews By Owners

1998 -- 21' 0" SUNBIRD / NEPTUNE

Model: 212

Cockpit: lot of cockpit/fishing space for the size.Helm visibility you might to add a step to see over windshield if your all boats with standard outboard mounts following seas must be watched

Cabin: Good storage space available in cabin.Enough room to lay down if need be

Construction: Owned this boat for 10 years [still do] never had any problems. She is kept in the water April/Nov and used quite often. Normal maint. only no exception to note

Handling: This boat is wide 105" so it tends to wallow when broaching waves.Semi V hull will not be as smooth as deep v heading in to waves.overall I would rate hull 7 on a 1 to 10

Engine Room: 130 hp Johnson ob Not the fastest boat in the world but plenty fast enough for skiing/wakeboarding. Only repair ever made [other then water pumps every 4-5yrs] was to floats in carburetor.

General Comments: Mostly I use it for fishing ocean/river /bay.Also used for wake boarding/skiing. ocean use depends on weather, it is only a 21' boat but feel comfortable running her 20 miles n/s of inlet and outside 5/10 miles
