Boat Reviews By Owners

2007 -- 22' 3" EVERGLADES

Model: 223cc Bay Boat

Cockpit: True seating 5-7, fishing family of 4. Only sliding windscreen in the industry. True backcountry to blue water bay boat. Dry & comfortable.

Cabin: Good storage-console, helm & bow.Large fish box. Locking rod storage (6), Gunnels-4, T-Top-4 & console-6. Tackle- port & starboard.

Construction: Designed & built by Bob & Stephen Dougherty (whaler & edgewater) need I say more? Anything & everything you could want on a bay boat and more. Amazing overkill!

Handling: Great handling in skinny (16") to 3-5' blue water "crap" seas.

Engine Room: 225 Honda, no better- JD Powers since the day it was introduced. 2nd 225 Honda I've owned (04' ProLine 23 Sport). 48 mph by GPS. Can hang up to a 250hp. 3-4mph gain!

General Comments: Stupid money but an amazing craft! I'll have to see how the powder coating on all aluminum holds up through the years. Cheap "igloo" cooler in front of console will replace with a "premium" cooler eventually.
