Boat Reviews By Owners
1986 -- 22' 0" AQUASPORT
Cockpit: This boat has great visibility from the helm. Lots of room behind for moving around and fishing.
Construction: Hull is in good condition. Repainted deck. Fiberglass has held up well, no soft spots. Gelcoat still in good shape.
Handling: I have had this boat well offshore and been through some heavy seas. She will keep heading nicely and handle 4-6, HOWEVER... I would only be in those seas if I had to be. Ideal is 3-4 or less.
Engine Room: 200 HP Outboard pushes 45mph. With carburated 1994 200hp I can cruise at 32-38mph burning 3.0-3.3 mpg. However if seas are over 2 feet, I choose to slow down to 23-28 mph at 2.5 mpg.
General Comments: I mostly fish offshore and reefs. However, since she only draws about a foot, so I have alot of flexibility in where I go. She is also a great boat for bay/back country, but also great for going offshore if the seas are not too rough.
