Boat Reviews By Owners

2005 -- 23' 6" SEA FOX

Model: 236 CC

Cockpit: The cocpit is set up well with the leaning post and the tilt steering is great.

Cabin: None

Construction: I use this boat for Bluefin Tuna fishing in the northeast and have had no problems to date I have not seen any stress cracks and am pleased so far.

Handling: This boat handles extremly well and the hull can take a pounding. the bow is huge for the boat. I got cought with my pants down in 8-10 ft seas every 6 seconds from every direction and she got me back to Gloucester Harbor safe.

Engine Room: The 150 optomax is a little under powered for the hull but not by much. she gets great fuel economy and you cant have both ways. I wouldnt let that scare you away theres enough power there with the 150 optimax.

General Comments: The wireing looks a bit primative but to date I have had no wiring problems. My only complaint is not enough storage space. I think that all the complaints you read about are people who have never owned a seafox. I love mine and its alot of boat for the money.
