Boat Reviews By Owners

2006 -- 15' 0" SHELL BOATS

Model: Swifty 15

Cockpit: Normally this boat has a small cabin. I asked Fred Shell to built it without the cabin, which makes the cockpit bigger

Construction: Very nice craftsmanship. Seems quite strongly made

Handling: Very stable, and very responsive. It takes a while to learn not to put too much helm into the twin rudders, as that's like applying the brakes

Engine Room: 4 hp 4 stroke; too big. 2 hp would be fine

General Comments: I haven't used it as much as I'd like. Desiging a method to get the twin keels onto the trailer properly took some creativity. Boat is very stable.
