1980 -- 13' 0" HOBIE
Model: Power Skiff
Cockpit: A safer version of a jetski that can be left on a mooring or at the dock.
Construction: VERY solidly built.
Handling: Very predictable and able to handle steep seas with ease, crossing, quartering and jumping. Surfs well and is dry.
Engine Room: A thirty or thirty five is plenty for two or three people aboard, a forty will make her really move and get out of the hole easily with four. I've had both.
General Comments: She's the smaller version of the Hobie 15 power Skiff, also a sweet sport boat. I purchased the Hobie to replace a Boston Whaler 13 which pounded in our waters, didn't self-bail reliably and was less comfortable given the low console and seats. My kids love it.
