Boat Reviews By Owners

1960 -- 16' 0" CRESTLINER

Model: Chieftain Imperial

Cockpit: Visibility is good; would be better if windshield was replaced.

Cabin: No cabin

Construction: For being a 50 year old fiberglass boat; it's in pretty good shape.

Handling: She weighs 560 pounds dry (w/out engine); stays right up on top of the water when anchored; planes easily. Gets around 5 mpg at full speed.

Engine Room: 1963 Johnson Seahorse 40 HP Outboard - replaced the original 1961 Johnson Seahorse 40 HP Outboard; runs well.

General Comments: Fishing on rivers, the Chesapeake Bay, and the Atlantic. Somewhat wet and rough on the ocean, but she'll do 18+ mph on a 40 HP outboard going with the wind.
