Boat Reviews By Owners

1990 -- 23' 0" MAKO

Model: 230

Cockpit: Decent size cockpit. Need to stand to drive boat. Enough room to put everything you need.

Cabin: nice size cabin for two. Porta potti is under the step going into the cabin. The bed can turn into a table. The height of the table could of been a few inches higher to get my legs underneath. Plenty of ventilation with hatch and two windows. Also, it has plenty of storage for everything with 3 shelfs, 2 draws and the sink was converted to a storage area.

Construction: Solid construction. Your basic traditional Mako hull. Fished in choppy water with no problems. Just have normal spider cracks on the gelcoat. Nothing major.

Handling: Handles very nicely. Fished it in 4-5' swells.

Engine Room: 1990 yamaha 225. Runs real good. Pushes boat to about 30-35 mph depending on weight.

General Comments: Great boat for fishing. I wouldnt want to fish with more than 4 people. You can fit more, but room can be limited in the back.
