Boat Reviews By Owners

2008 -- 22' 3" STINGRAY

Model: 220 DR

Cockpit: The cockit is well designed with great seating (bolsters) and visibility is excellent. The seating and amenity lay out is perfect for picnicing.

Cabin: No cabin, but with the enclosure you can sleep in the back with the sun standard sun pads installed.

Construction: I have only had the boat for a year but have had to problems.

Handling: Handles beautifully. the Z-plane hull gets on plane quickly and turns are smooth and solid. Not really an offshore boat but for intercoastal, lake of coastal cruising its a great boat.

Engine Room: Vovlo 300 HP with DP and is plenty of power. Gets on plane in no time with half tank of fuel and 6-8 people on board. Have had it up to about 50 and still has some left.

General Comments: Great for pulling up on the beach and picnicing. Excellent party boat for day trips to local islands and beaches. If looking at bowrider or deck boat you need to look at this boat, it's the best of both worlds.
