1997 -- 21' 6" MAKO

Model: 205

Cockpit: 8foot 6inch beam deep vee hull.lots of space certified 4 8peopl

Cabin: no cabin bimimi top and dual concole windshield bimimi top made for tall man im 6'3 and don't hit my head

Construction: very solid construction hand layed glass foamed in hull reinforced bow and transom polypropline stringers 1or 3 cracks in gell coat only cosmetic though she's a tank

Handling: like a dream modified deep vee hull with benit trim tabs makes this boat battle ready small or large surf great been in 10+ seas off of kauai hawaii where i live.still felt safe can't say enough good about this style hull solid , smooth ride

Engine Room: it came with a 98 johnson ocean runner 175hp 2stroke which ran very fast lots of power used lots of gas and oil.broke down alot too only plus is 56mph+ on my gps .i repowerd with a suzuki df 140hp 4stroke and haven't looked back alittle less power 45mph+ but i fish all day less than 20 gallons 14 hours u do math . o yeah best part she so quiet and NEVER given me any problems .suzuki = economy and reliably

General Comments: mako 205 is the best boat ive ever owed truly legendary.glad i.didnt follow the pack and buy a whaler.makos arnt the best but not by much and restore very well. i don't have any decals on my boat people always say nice greaty or is that a ventura? feels good.
