Boat Reviews By Owners

2000 -- 24' 0" STINGRAY

Model: 240CS

Cockpit: Nice cockpit except that I can't see well without standing up. It just may be a personal thing, but I'd like a captain's type stool rather than a chair so I'll be higher. I wind up sitting on the back of the chair which isn't very comfortable.

Cabin: There are two cabins with each sleeping 2. They are both fairly well done for a boat this size with quite a bit of storage. Headroom is very limited in the aft compartment, but that is to be expected.

Construction: Quality was very poor. Numerous problems finally culminating in the boat being out of commission for 4 months. Not at all happy with the boat for this reason.

Handling: Handled well. Would have preferred a two engine boat, but that had nothing to do with this boat.

Engine Room: Boat was pretty well powered. I purchased an engine with 260 HP which seems to have been pretty good.

General Comments: As I mentioned before, I can't recommend the boat due to the quality problems. I would have been happy with the boat if it hadn't been for the constant problems and the boat being out of commission so long.
