Boat Reviews By Owners

1999 -- 17' 0" HOLBY MARINE

Model: Bristol Skiff

Cockpit: This is a great little skiff, but has very little cockpit room because of the Molded in flotation seating that runs fore and aft for the entire length of the boat.

Cabin: None

Construction: Fiberglass, very well construction. I have had this boat out of Montauk, and over to Block Island. Hull is green, very pleasing to the eye.

Handling: It is a flat bottom boat, and it feels the bumps in the road, however, it is very seaworthy for a 17' Skiff

Engine Room: 25hp Yamaha. Gets the boat up on plane nicely with 2 adults. The boat could use more HP if there are more than 2 on board.

General Comments: I really like the boat. I use it for Fishing, and for $6 in fuel I can cruise all day! I fish Montauk, and Long Island sound, Great for inshore fishing draws only 8 inches of water!
