Boat Reviews By Owners

1996 -- 23' 0" PRO-LINE

Model: 231 Walk Around

Cockpit: Plenty of space for fishing with a wide walkway around to the bow.Good cruising boat with the family, but i wish it had a nice comfortable bow seating area for the kids.

Cabin: The boat needs more storage area.I use the cuddy area as a storage area. Need a fish box.

Construction: Solid made boat although there are better made boats on the market

Handling: Rides best with a full fuel tank (138 gallons).I have been caught in squall situations once or twice and felt very safe. This year I think I will add trim tabs for better performance.(The engine is mounted on a brtacket)

Engine Room: I have a 1996 Johnson Ocean Pro 225 horsepower. Great engine but it likes gas. Faithfull add Carbon Guard at every fuel fill.

General Comments: I fish Cape cod Bay out to Stellwagon once or twice a season depending on teh weather. I having taken her to Marthas Vineyard for a weekend(Did no sleep on it)And have also cruised up to Boston Harbor from the Plymouth area.Great boat for the money.
