Boat Reviews By Owners

2001 -- 22' 0" KEY WEST

Model: 2201 w/a

Cockpit: 2 person cockpit ok visibility. top of window in line of vision.nice fishing boat

Cabin: can sleep 2 but used to stow gear. would be nice if rod holders had been designed into cabin. somewhat of a pain to add oil to reserve tank.

Construction: construction was the major attraction but after first trip while washing down boat found all the dirty water stays up in cockpit area and bow{boat is supposed to be SELF BAILING}I'm 350lbs and have to sit on o/b motor for drainage! Panel for all switches has spider cracks all over and needs to be replaced after 1st season! plus several other poor craftsmanship/design problems

Handling: boat handles well in 3-4ft seas with some care. comes to plane quickly and handles nicely.

Engine Room: 200 efi mercury: had problems 1st trip out and starting problems the 1st season.

General Comments: like the look and lay out is ok but wouldn't recommend to anyone. lot of money spent for a true disappointment!
