Boat Reviews By Owners

1992 -- 38' 10" CARVER

Model: 36/370

Cockpit: The Bridge can seat 8 adults with room to spare and I have perfect visibility from the helm...No fish being caught on this boat...

Cabin: Like I said, It feels more like a 48' than a 36', I know I shopped real hard looking for elbow room and this boat came in first in my book as the layout could'nt be better...

Construction: While the fiberglass might be a little thinner then that of a battlewagon, I find the boat is built well and I have had no problems and we are going on 11 years...

Handling: With her deep V and displacement hull she takes on 7'-8' seas head on with no problems, but a beam sea can get her rock'en...

Engine Room: She has 310hp Volvos with 560hrs and I've had no problems, but the starboard engine seems to use a little oil on long journeys (no smoke, it could be blow by)...

General Comments: I love this boat and could never down size, which means my next boat will have to be in the high 40's... It works well as a floating condo and don't ever worry about getting any cabin fever...
