Boat Reviews By Owners

1969 -- 19' 1" AQUASPORT

Model: center console

Cockpit: Perfect boat for Cape Cod fishing. ( inshore)Center console, not a lot of room but good for a couple guys and 37 beers and a bunch of stripers.

Cabin:'s layout was perfect for it's era. She is almost an antique.

Construction: It IS well built...I have semi-beat the crap out of it and she asks for more. The transom could use some work, but hell it's 35 years young.

Handling: With a load on guys, beer and some fish, it handles ok. A bit wet and she pounds in 3 foot seas. 115 Evinrude. Alone and with a new coat of bottom paint and a flat sea ...opened up, she flies.

Engine Room: 115 Evinrude 1978 can't kill it. But I am really thinking about an engine upgrade...especially for fuel economy.Maybe a 90 4 stroke...or so.

General Comments: I like it and I am considering completely overhauling the entire hull and deck. $2-3000.00 and I got a new hull. I can't justify spending a hundred thousand bananas on a USED Regulator or the like...Fishing, beach locations for clear sandy right across 6" of water at WIDE open speed.
