Boat Reviews By Owners

1996 -- 18' 0" THOMPSON

Model: Center Console

Cockpit: Center console with smoked windscreen makes for great visibility on this craft. Console well laid-out, with enough space for instruments and depth/fish finder.

Cabin: No cabin per se, but comfortable, two-person console seat with storage underneath for mooring cover, outriggers and extra anchor. Theer is a 73-quarter cooler seat in front of console that is portable,, so can be used for sitting on fishing platform.

Construction: Solid stem to stern. Live well at transom, with ample storage under bow platform. Very sturdy throughout and overall.

Handling: Streaks over light chop, bounds through three-foot wakes if taken on quarter. Smooth and fast in calm water, corners smartly without fishtailing, even at higher speeds.

Engine Room: Has 1998 115 hp Yamaha 2-stroke V-4 outboard that speeds this boat quickly and easily to 35 mph in light chop, with top end around 45-plus mph on smooth water. Planes boat like a dream.

General Comments: Love it!
