1969 -- 25' 0" CORONADO YACHTS

Model: Coronado 25

Cockpit: cockpit will seat three on windwardside and two on lee..has good visibility ofer cabin top and when sitting on the wind rail helps with ability to to windward

Cabin: Cabin has a v berth for two, small head area for porta potty or other approved marine head, hanging locker opposite head location. dinette will convert to bunk for two and a quarter birth for one. Alcohol stove, sink, ice box.

Construction: Fiberglass with interior liner and topside piece joined at the rubrail location. fixed keel with a 3" 8" draft with one ton of lead in bottom of keel. Boat weighs about 4,500 lbs with a deck steped mast that can be lowered for trailering

Handling: Handles well with proper sails and rigging in a lot of weather conditions. Power by outboard and bigger seaways need a long shaft. Coastal sailing and good for lakes and rivers. Coronado Owners forum at

Engine Room: Outboard in a compartment aft of main living areas with a hatch that need to be open for engine to run....some have rigged fans in hatch so it can be closed for noise reduction. 6 to 9.9 HP two stroke...was made before 4 stroke engines were bin on the market

General Comments: I do like the boat and have raced on SF Bay cruised SF bay and Delta area. A nice small pocker cruiser/racerand am plannig to go trailer sailing in retirement to Great Lakes, Gulf, eastern Seaboard and Mexico
