Boat Reviews By Owners

1999 -- 25' 2" MARIAH

Model: Z258 Shabah

Cockpit: Large and roomy cockpit, easy to see in all directions, snap in carpit dresses up the cockpit, in floor 25 qrt. cooler makes it Ideal for fishing or picnicing.

Cabin: The enclosed pump out head is not the biggest and is more suited for a small woman rather than a normal size man

Construction: excellent deep V hull. Very rugged well built boat. Only setback is there are 2 panels to either side of the rear bench seating (about 6 inches wide) which do not for a good seal from the engine compartment and with the big block 454 its a little noisey, this can be modified though.

Handling: This boat handles very well. The heavy cuddy smooths the ride out in choppy water. This boat has a top speed of 58 mph. and is very comfortable to drive.

Engine Room: This boat is powered by a 330 h.p. 7.4 leter Mercruiser with electric fuel injection. With the Bravo III drive with dual stainless steele props. This gives this boat ample power and allows it to plane out quickly.

General Comments: I use this boat on weekends at one of the finger lakes in Upstate New York. This boat is excellent for sport cruising and water skiing and big enough to sleep overnight.
