Boat Reviews By Owners

1982 -- 37' 0" ISLAND TRADER 37

Model: ISLAND TRADER 37

Cockpit: LARGE AFT COCK PIT SQUARE WITH 6' ON ALL SIDES. GREAT DAY BEDS

Cabin: CABIN IS SPACIOUSLY LAID OUT FOR CRUISING, OVERNITES AND LIVE ABOARD

Construction: THE BOAT WAS WELL BUILT WITH THE FIBERGLASS ASPECT AND SUCH BUT THE MOST AGGRAVATING ASPECT IS THE LEAKING BY WINDOWS AND STANCHCIONS. ONCE CORRECTED AND FLIMSY LINERS REPLACED IN THE STORAGE AREAS THIS IS A WONDERFUL BOAT.

Handling: DEFINITEL A MOTOR SAILOR. LIKES STRONG BREEZES BUT HATES TO POINT TIGHT TO THE WIND.

Engine Room: YANMAR 30 HP. 3QW30.

General Comments: WE USE GRANUAILE FOR OUR OWN ENJOYMENT AND AS A CAPTAINED CHARTER BOAT. SHE IS SAFE AND HEAVY MAKING PRETTY MUCH ALL PASSAGES ENJOYABLE.
