Boat Reviews By Owners

2005 -- 18' 10" MAYCRAFT

Model: 1900 cc

Cockpit: the cockpit has enough room to fish or ride 4 people comfortably, with no space wasted, and nothing in the way allowing plenty of walk far as helm visibility,i cant me it makes a great family or fishing boat.

Construction: as everyone knows, the boat contains wood but everything seems to be well sealed. the hull is very solid and well built.hay!!!! dont parker use wood? it is not loaded with frills but the way i look at that is theres a lot less to have to pamper while playing in the salt. no problems yet.

Handling: the boat handles great under power or while being anchored. i fish inland and off shore when the weather is permitting.i mainly navigate in and out of the new river inlet at north topsail beach n.c. and everyone in that area knows how rough that inlet can get. dont get me wrong it can get too rough for the 19ft and i have had the you know what scared out of me several times, but overall using good common sense by picking your days to go out, the boat is very seaworthy and handles 3 to 4 ft seas fairly well.this boat is very stable also.

Engine Room: the 19 ft is powered by a yamaha 115 four plains quickly even with 4 passengers on speed trimmed out at 5500 to 5900 with 2 people on board was around 40 to 42 mph on slick waters with the top up.most impressive is the fuel consumption. its great.

General Comments: we mainly use the boat for i said earlier, she is a great all around boat for in or offshore usage when used with good common sense.
