Boat Reviews By Owners
2002 -- 21' 0" SEA HUNT
Model: Victory 215
Cockpit: The cocpit is big for a boat this size. It is comfortable for fishing or cruising. Great storage, two good size fishing box, tackle storage and a live well.
Cabin: I use the cabin for storage only. There is a porta-potti but it is difficult for an adult to use.
Construction: The boat is well constructed. It feels solid even in very choppy water. There are a few very minor cracks in the deck but none that I am aware of in the hull. There is a minor leak into the cabin from where the hull meets the deck. The gel coat is beautifully done. A rich shade of off-white.
Handling: I boat in the choppy waters of the Great South Bay of Long Island NY. This boat handles anything the bay dishes out. I can maintain a plain even in very sloppy water. There is little or no pounding. I fish in the ocean and the boat handles very well. I only go outside on good days.
Engine Room: It is powered with a 150HP Yamaha 2 stroke. It is a perfect power match for this boat. I cruise at 28MPH at 3500RPM. It will top at 45MPH at 5500RPM. There is no trouble getting to a plain even when fully loaded.
General Comments: This is a good quality family fishing boat that is well suited for inland as well as ocean fishing.
