Boat Reviews By Owners

2005 -- 17' 6" MAXUM

Model: 1800MX

Cockpit: The helm seat could be height adjustable for a better view over the screen while mooring, having a swivel helm seat makes no sence as there is no room to swivel. I cant see why they dont have a hour meter as standard?

Cabin: the bow rider option is great

Construction: Even at this early stage i can tell it is well built, i have no problem with the finish.

Handling: rough conditions on the harbour or heading across Sydney heads wasnt a problem for such a small boat. We had five adults on board (all novice boaties) and all felt very comfortable

Engine Room: 3.0 litre mercruiser gets on the plane easily with a full load (I havent towed a skier yet watch this space)

General Comments: To date she's been a great day boat and great value for money. The guys at Avante Marine in Silverwater Sydney were great to deal with and handled all my novice questions,
