Boat Reviews By Owners

2002 -- 20' 6" SEA PRO

Model: 210 W/A

Cockpit: beamy, ok for fishing max 3 people. seating not comfy, my wife and daughter hated it. cockpit 25" deep so felt safe in most water

Cabin: cabin roomy for a 20'. stayed surprisingly dry in heavy rain.

Construction: fair construction. better than Angler in my opinion, but was definitely a lower cost boat. oddly, hull had a constant lean to port side that was never resolved, had to have trim tabs to compensate. even with one person on starboard (captain), would lean to port. side.

Handling: fair handling. ok for inshore. I like to fish 5 - 14 miles out, boat road rough in chop. If I took it slow, was ok with tabs down. But, was a struggle to keep on plane at the lower speeds required for a comfortable ride. No comparison to the sailfish 218 I own now.

Engine Room: 150 johnson, 2 stroke carb. Hated it. would run fine cold. Once I ran to location, sat more than 15 minutes, was very hard starting. Worried a lot of people when offshore. It would sputter, cough and die. Not good when tide is moving, pulling away from a dock with other boats nearby. Had into dealer 3-4 times to try and correct. I gave up and now have a yamaha, so far love it.

General Comments: Fishing, cruising to the local sand bars, shrimping.
