Model: 40 cruising ketch
Cockpit: Good cruiser for 2-4 People. alot of room in side for LOA 40" beam 11'3" draft 4'2" cockpit small but seaworthy
Cabin: Customised interior with very standard layout)Vee berth fwd, head with hanging and draws opposite,dinette with settee opposite, large galley with nav station and supersized quater berth, lazarette lockers from cockpit
Construction: construction solid lam FRP balsa core deck (sound in our case)bolted hull deck joint. ally masts. handles seas well, quiet lively
Handling: Sails fantastic exept not that close winded due to shoal draft but will make good 55 deg. with coastal cruising load. and aged sails laden.
Engine Room: OK under power with 3 blade prop. 5.7 knots, 40 hp westerbeke,does not harnes all engine power no black smoke at full revs(could get more)
General Comments: verry pleased with vessel for coastal cruising off southern california.
