Boat Reviews By Owners

2004 -- 19' 0" SEA FOX

Model: 195 Bay Fisher

Cockpit: Just right. Not too big, not too small. Fucntional.

Cabin: No cabin.

Construction: Lots of glass. Check out the weight of other boats of the same size, this one is usually a little heavier; better ride in heavy seas. Finish could be a little better, but you're not paying $10,000.00 more for something that does not translate to better ride or longevity. Cosmetics only go so far, unless you've got deep pockets and don't care about the $.

Handling: Have never been in a boat this size that rides so well. We've run through 2' chop, leaving other boats behind because they couldn't hang. Very dry boat. The 16 degree deadrise does a great job of keeping us comfortable in the roughest seas.

Engine Room: This boat planes in under 3 seconds!!!! With my 115 hp. I'm getting 42 mph. on the GPS.

General Comments: I know there are other boats out there with prettier finishes, but I could not see paying for the "gingerbread", when it does absolutely nothing for the ride. I saved thousands and have a boat with a lifetime hull warranty. What more could I ask for? Stainless fittings, no wood, high speed pick-up for my livewells, and did I mention the ride?
