1978 -- 32' 0" PRAIRIE BOAT WORKS

Model: Prairie 32 Sailboat

Cockpit: The cockpit is small, which is an asset when at sea. This is definetly not a party boat, but was built for serious offshore cruising.

Cabin: Cabin is comfortable with sleeping accommodations for four. We lived aboard our boat for 20 years, so she has all the amenities.

Construction: The Prairie 32 sailboats have a thick handlaid fiberglass hull that is practically bullet proof.

Handling: Handles well under power and sail. They do have a tendency to a bit of weather helm which can be corrected with sail configuration.

Engine Room: Yanmar 30QM diesel engine. This size engine powers the boat well.

General Comments: The boat was built for offshore cruising and handles the sea well.
