Boat Reviews By Owners

4 -- 21' 0" SEA PRO

Model: SV2100

Cockpit: Fishes great for the bay. Plenty of room for a lot of casting (without a T top)

Construction: Well you get what you pay for and the Sea Pro i guess you could say is a mid grade boat. The plus side is it has plenty of storage and fishes great with 3-4 people. My boat has spent 40-50 hours in the usual chop of the bay but i noticed early on that i had alot of loose screws(perhaps from the factory) I had several loose around the rub rail and hinges on lids of the storage compartment wich could be a result from walking on the lids(which they are designed to) I think the factory should use lock nuts on bolts for these instead of screws. I didnt like the fact that there is no padded strip under these lids incase the lid accidentally falls down. The storage in the console is not completely waterproof either. Another plus is that the hull is pretty solid and i enjoy the deeper sides not found on most bay boats. I wish Sea pro would put a rubber edge around the rub rail because afterall you are gonna have that occasional bump into the dock when loading or unloading

Handling: Handles great for what she is designed for. Cuts through a 2-3 foot chop with ease at 25-30 mph I also have a 80 lb thrust 24 volt trolling motor and it manuevers the boat well around structures.

Engine Room: Powered by a Suzuki 140 and does just fine with a top speed of about 42 with a light load

General Comments: Overall it is a superb boat for bay or occasional offshore fishing, has plenty of storage, handles great. Few loose screws but maybe that is just part of fishing in rough waters. Would recommend for anyone purchasing to get a leaning post with foot rest instead of flip flop seat. When driving you are gonna spend time standing up and those legs will get tired on long runs, plus you have extra rod holders and a removable cooler(instead of having to unload fish or drinks our of the flip flop seat and draining it into your boat)
