Boat Reviews By Owners

2004 -- 18' 6" TRIUMPH

Model: 191

Cockpit: good size copit for 18fter Visibility good. Good for picknicks don"t run up on anything but soft sand, clay ,mud, ect. Plastic hull scratches/cuts very easy

Construction: Construction ropelene/plastic. great for impact resistance. cuts and scratches very easy, soft material hull will bend out of shape if not supported just right. sealing leaks is almost and art with heat gun and plastic welding rods. Special care with all Screws predrill just right or plastic splits must use ONLY 1 type of sealant on every one, or they will come loose.

Handling: Mine handles well in calm water. get a few waves lt likes to porpoise till you come off plane and rebuild speed. It has run so poorly since oct 05 New. I would not go offshore. In water 9x broak down 4

Engine Room: yamaha 115 4 stroke runs fine when gas system from under floor tank works right. I added 4 hp kicker nissan 4 stroke to get home. needed first time out. used 3x. seprate gas supply never misses a beat

General Comments: As stated in other post wires all over need to be tied down. Finish, sharp edges can do cause cuts. factory help. Warrantee,BUY THE LETTER of the Law. dealers not the best. 78 days of first 5 mo in shop or awaiting parts.Repairs did not fix it. Waiting since march 23 for more repairs due at shop tues may 23. and so it goes. buy again never
