Boat Reviews By Owners

1986 -- 19' 0" STAR CRAFT

Model: Medalist 1901

Cockpit: Good looking instrument panel. Everything you need and nothing you don't! Wide open area for picnicing and hanging out. Plenty of room to move about.

Cabin: No cabin as this is an open bow.

Construction: Seems to be very solid. Handles rough water reasonably well but likes the smoothe stuff!

Handling: Handles tight turns and straight-aways with equal ease. Mine seems to want to pull to the right however.

Engine Room: Came with an OMC 3.0. A little underpowered as top-end speed with a 17 pitch is only about 34 mph. However, this is good for gas consumption! Runs all day on about 1/2 tank of gas even while tubing and skiing!

General Comments: First-time boat owner and I'm quite happy with her! We like to take the family out to tube, ski, picnic, swim, or just hang out and enjoy cool beverages while listening to music! Good starter for this!
