Boat Reviews By Owners

2002 -- 18' 0" WELLCRAFT

Model: 180 Fisherman

Cockpit: Good size for an 18ft boat. Seats 6 comfortably. Two seats behind the console, two aft seats and a front bench infront of center console that sits two. Versatle boat for the size and money. I fish a lot and also take out the wife and kids for picnics.

Cabin: No Cabin

Construction: Constructin is average. I would say its middle of the road. They make boats better for more money and worse for less money. Its the ford taurus of boats.

Handling: Handles good for a boat this size. I fish in the ocean in 2 to 3 ft waves and have no problems.

Engine Room: Bought boat new in 2002. Came with a mercury 115 2 stroke but I was smart enough to say no to the mercury and upgrade to a Suzuki 140 4 stroke. I love the Suzuki. Never had a problem in 4 years. Boat does 48mph.

General Comments: If I had to do over I would buy the same boat with the same engine. It was my first boat and its easy to handle and great to learn on. Plus it was in my price range.
