Boat Reviews By Owners

94 -- 20' 0" BAYLINER

Model: 2002 trophy

Cockpit: Good cockpit, although while putting the boat on the trailer my hand hit the lanyard switch and shut the motor off. This has happened twice. The ignition switch is in the wrong place.

Cabin: Nice cabin for a 20' boat. I can keep all my life preservers and charts in there. Good place for the kids to get out of the way and play to give the adults some time without them.

Construction: I like the layout. Take the 2 rear seats out and you have plenty of room to fish. The boat draws so little water we take it into shallow saltwater creeks and throw a cast net for bait.

Handling: At low speed does the outboard wander, but you get used to it. In 3 foot seas it handles fine. Have yet to take it offshore.

Engine Room: 1994 Mercury 150 Black Max. This engine has always started and has never shut off on me. Boat runs 40 in salt water with full tank of fuel (82 gallons) and 4 adults. Fuel economy is very good.

General Comments: This is my 1st boat. I like the layout of the cockpit and the fishing area. It planes very quickly and rides like a larger boat. Bilge has been dry as a bone.
